Obituary: Mckitrick, Linda F.

McKITRICK, Linda F. June 21, 1942 - June 10, 2013 It is with great sadness the family and friends announce the passing of Linda who was loved by all who knew her.

Linda knew no stranger, only friends she had not met.

Surrounded by those who loved her she went peacefully to meet Lord Jesus.

Born to Carl and Dorotha Horvath in Akron, Ohio she graduated and joined the Army in 1971.

She served two tours in Germany and one in Korea, then was medically retired in 1982 at Letterman Army Medical Center in California.

She married Edward McKitrick in 1978-1982, after which she moved to Spokane, WA where she worked as a medical clerk at Fairchild AFB and VA Medical Center, she retired from the VA in 1997.

Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday 10-5 at Heritage and a celebration of her life 11AM Friday, June 21, 2013 at Heritage Chapel.

Full military honors will follow at 1:30 at the WA State Veterans Cemetery at Medical Lake.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
