Age 28
(Age 28) Rose J. Stauffer was born on August 31, 1984 in Walla Walla, WA.
She passed away on June 10, 2013 in Spokane, WA.
Rose loved animals and shared her life with many, including her dog Chloe.
She loved baking cupcakes and going out for frozen yogurt with family and friends.
She raised service dogs through the 4-H Club.
Rose graduated with a B.A.
in Sociology from WSU and was a housing manager with Sojourner’s Alliance in Moscow, ID.
She was a MSW Practicum student and an after-hours worker in the Colfax DSHS office in 2009.
Rose then got her Master’s in Social Work from Eastern Washington University in June of 2012.
Rose is survived by her many dear friends, and her beloved boyfriend, Matt Karwatsky; her parents Carolyn and Kevin Stauffer; her brother Ryan Stauffer and her sister Tricia Chow.
Services will be in Anacortes, WA and Walla Walla, WA at a later date.
