CHAS Valley clinic robbed
The Spokane Valley CHAS clinic at 924 S. Pines Road was robbed this morning, the Spokane County Sheriff’s office said.
Deputy Craig Chamberlin said a man wearing a hoodie and a surgical mask from the clinic’s waiting room approached the pharmacy around 10 a.m. and showed a gun. He passed an employee a note demanding narcotics.
Chamberlin said he escaped with an undisclosed kind and amount of drugs. A police dog was brought in for the search but the man likely fled in a vehicle, Chamberlin said.
No one was injured.
The clinic moved a few appointments due to the robbery but was reopened early in the afternoon.
The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, with short brown hair and wearing a hoodie.
Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest and RxPatrol are offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
