Area students honored by schools

• Kylie Mohr has been named to the dean’s list and awarded First Honors, the highest level of achievement, for the 2013 spring semester at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She is the daughter of Mark and Tami Mohr of Spokane. She graduated in 2012 from St. George’s School.

• Harding University, in Searcy, Ark., has named Jeremy McCracken, of Mead, to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list.

• Mariah Macdonald, of Spokane, has been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Fla.

• Spokane resident Hannah Richter was named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at Beloit College, in Beloit, Wis.

• Grove City College, in Grove City, Pa., named Lucy Everett to the dean’s list for the 2013 spring semester. She is the daughter of Mark and Teresa Everett, of Spokane.

• Melanie Laete, of Spokane, has been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wis.

• Pullman resident Madeline Shier has been named to the dean’s list for the 2013 spring semester at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.

• George Fox University, in Newberg Ore., has named Ivy Deniston, of Deer Park, and David Ween, of Spokane, to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list.

• Hamad Alsqabe, of Pullman, and Drew Kirk, of Spokane, were named to the 2013 spring dean’s list at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan.

• Spokane residents Kara Brockett, Leslie Calhoun and Susan Calhoun have been named to the dean’s list for the 2013 spring semester at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
