Cossette back at Bake-Off

Cossette

Joan Cossette has done it again.

The Colbert woman is one of 60 semifinalists in the 46th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest. Her Lemon Pistachio Blackberry Thumbprints need votes to advance to the final round and earn her a chance to win the $1 million grand prize. Voting is open now through June 27 at www.bakeoff.com. Finalists will compete for the grand prize Nov. 10-12 in Las Vegas.

In order to encourage simpler, original recipes, submissions in the contest were limited to seven or fewer ingredients and a 30-minute prep time.

Cossette was a finalist in the 44th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest with her Orange-Coconut Breakfast Rolls. Look inside today’s Food section on Page C3 for both of the recipes.
