ALBURTY-McVEY, Marilyn Marcella (Age 96) Born to George and Alice Johnsrud on January 1, 1917 in Fargo, ND, Marilyn went to be with our Lord on May 15, 2013.
Marilyn (a.k.a.
Doll, aunt Doll, grandma Doll) was preceded in death by two children; Marilyn Sue McVey in 1968 and Richard George McVey in 1991 and her sister Lucille Johnson who passed away in 2008.
Marilyn and Lucille shared their love for music through the piano and the organ which they dearly loved.
Marilyn moved to Spokane in 1956 from Miles City, MT.
Surviving is her son Robert J. McVey and his wife Kathy along with four grandchildren; Gregg McVey, Christa Steiger, Laura McVey and Kristin McVey, and six great-grand- children.
She was a longtime member of Unity Church.
Her service will be held at Unity Spiritual Center, formerly Unity Church Of Truth, 2900 S. Bernard St., Spokane, WA 99203, on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
