Obituary: Jordan, Katherine M.
Age 98
She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Spokane for the past 27 years.
Like the Phoebe of the Bible, “she has been a helper of many” during her lifetime.
She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas on January 7, 1915.
She was the daughter of Nolan (Papa) and Mattie (Mama) Bohannan and has lived in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Texas, California, Nevada, and Washington.
She was married to Hubert Jordan on April 30, 1929 and they were together 76 years before his passing in December of 2005 at the age of 99.
She is survived by her sons Bill (Donna) and Jack (Sandy); grandsons and granddaughters, Mike (Nancy), Ken (Joan), granddaughters, Debbie, Sheryl (Roman), Robert, Kathy (Bob), Matt (Crystal), Fred, Julie (Todd), Becky (Jay), and Wendy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hubert, her son Bob, and her sister Floe.
She had numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nephew, Dick (Liz), niece, Kathleen (Paul).
She was dearly loved by all.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 2-8pm at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA.
Funeral services will be at the Northside Church of Christ, 5601 N. Jefferson St., at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 and there will be a graveside service at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Sunnyside Washington at 4p.m.
