Obituary: Haladyna, John Ryan

HALADYNA, John Ryan John Ryan Haladyna, 37, made a peaceful transition to Heaven at his home in Henderson, NV., on June 15, 2013, following a brief and courageous battle with renal failure.

Ryan was born on May 26, 1976 in Spokane.

He is survived by his loving parents, Linda Haladyna of Henderson, NV., and John Haladyna of Spokane; and, his devoted brother, Paul Haladyna also of Henderson.

Ryan graduated from Ferris High School where he was active in sports, journalism and Running Start.

He graduated with honors from SCC with an AA Degree in Fire Science.

He relocated to Nevada in 2006.

Ryan was a gifted artist and talented writer, yet his favorite pastime was collecting and nurturing friendships.

His lifelong Spokane friends affectionately called him,”Haly.”

Ryan was witty, creative, generous, and compassionate.

We will miss his smile and zest for life.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held in Spokane in August.
