Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture “SPO-Ma: Spokane Modern Architecture 1948-73” – When a small group of modern architects began practicing in Spokane in the late 1940s, they changed more than the city’s skyline. They ushered in a period of creativity the likes of which this region had never before seen. Also: “David Douglas: A Naturalist at Work,” a look at the work and travels of Scottish naturalist David Douglas (1799-1834).
