Felon accused of firing gun in bar
Spokane police arrested a convicted felon suspected of firing gunshots in a downtown bar late Friday.
Officers jailed Blane M. Peterson, 27, shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday after he fired a gun at Ugly Bettie’s, 211 N. Division St., according to a police news release.
Peterson allegedly got into a fight at the bar and pulled out a gun.
Witnesses reported he fired into the air and then fled. No one was hit.
Officers located Peterson in the alley behind 215 W. Main Ave.
Police found a gun and two shell casings nearby, according to the release.
Peterson was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment and felon in possession of a firearm.
