Age 89
Joan Foulger was born on October 22, 1923 in Carlton Colville, Suffolk, England.
She graduated culinary school in London with a major in baking 1941.
Joan married Dennis B. Ervin on February 17, 1945 in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England.
She and Dennis moved to Spokane in l988.
Joan was a member of The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and was active in Altar Guild.
She moved to Tomball, TX in 2010 a year before the death of her son, Edward B. Ervin, San Diego, CA.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Denise Harfield, Tomball, TX; five grandchildren, Barry Ervin, Geoff Harfield, Christopher Harfield, Tracy Padilla, and Jason Ervin; seven great-grandchildren, Hayden Harfield, Chloe Harfield, Kyle Harfield, Korissa Harfield, Jackie Padilla, Carols Padilla and Victoria Padilla.
She will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10:00am at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 127 E. 12th Ave., Spokane, with a reception following.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Altar Guild of St. John’s Cathedral.
