Obituary: Brazel, Sadie H. (Age 95)
Sadie was born in Colville WA on August 14th 1917 to Fred and Athelda Elwood.
Sadie was the eldest of four sisters, who have preceded her in death.
Sadie went to school in Colville WA and grew up working in her father’s mercantile store.
Sadie took on many responsibilities helping raise her younger siblings after her mother passed away when she was 17.
Sadie married Bradley Brazel in February of 1936 and after 45 years of marriage, Bradley passed away in July of 1981.
Together, they have four children: Twilla Bowen (Packwood WA), Elmer Brazel (Colville WA), Shilla Somerlott (Mead WA), and Diane Smith (Mountain View AR).
Sadie and Bradley raised their children living and working in Colville WA, Grand Coulee WA, Seattle WA, Graham WA, Spokane WA and later retiring in Deer Park WA.
Sadie was also survived by 9 Grandchildren, numerous Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Later in her retirement years, Sadie enjoyed traveling in her motor-home, camping, bingo, and most of all spending time with her family.
After 95 years, Sadie will be truly missed and always loved.
