St. John-Endicott seized control from the opening tip and ran past Yakama Tribal in a loser-out game.

Gretchen Van Lith made 9 of 16 shots and finished with 20 points and six rebounds for St. John-Endicott. Rachel Gfeller added 13 points and nine boards for the Eagles.

Yakama Tribal was led by Lynndel Wapsheli and Athena Wapsheli, who combined for 29 points.

Led by the unrelenting will of Sarah Ott, the Crusaders overcame an early 10-point deficit and rallied to beat the Chitwhins.

Shoreline Christian found itself in a 13-3 hole early in the first quarter, but fought back into the game.

Ott scored 21 first-half points and finished with 31. She made 11 of 23 shots, including 3 of 5 3-pointers. She also had eight of the Crusaders’ 18 fourth-quarter points.

Laura James and Dramikha Skarr combined for 31 points to lead Taholah.

Bella Hermesch added 21 points for Shoreline Christian.

Stormee Van-Belle recorded a double-double in impressive fashion as the Knights took care of the Nannies and advanced to the championship game.

Van-Belle scored 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting and grabbed 16 rebounds. Both figures were game highs.

The Knights struck early and often, posting 28 points in the game’s first 8 minutes. Sunnyside Christian shot 65.4 percent in the first half and 55.6 percent overall, with 56 of its 78 points coming in the paint.

Katarina Wilson led the Nannies with 12 points while Vanesa Figueroa added 10 on 4-of-7 shooting, including 2 of 2 from the 3-point line.

Colton 71, Wilbur-Creston 30

Jenna and Zoe Moser were too much for Wilbur-Creston to handle in a battle of Wildcats as Colton clinched a spot in the championship game.

Jenna Moser scored a game-high 26 points and Zoe Moser added 12 in the process of building a 39-18 halftime lead.

Colton’s stifling defense allowed just seven made field goals from Wilbur Creston on 34 attempts. Jessica Boyer and Kaelee Reed each led Wilbur-Creston with six points.

Colton will be looking for its fifth consecutive 1B State championship.
