Moses Lake man shot, killed in his home

A 60-year-old Moses Lake resident was shot and killed in his home Saturday night. In a statement on the Grant County Sheriff’s Facebook page, Sheriff Tom Jones said the shooting is not believed to be random, but no information on a possible suspect was released. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene of an assault at a home in the 7700 block of Clink Road Northeast in Cascade Valley around 9:30 p.m. Inside the home they found a man had been shot. He was transported to Samaritan Hospital where he died a short time later. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. The man’s name will be released after his family has been notified. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call (509) 762-1160 or email crimetips@co.grant.wa.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
