Obituary: Bliesner, Margaret Lotine
She was born in Shedd, Oregon, the oldest daughter of Leroy and Leola Starnes on March 27, 1932.
Margaret was employed as a Public Health Nurse at the Spokane County Health Department from September 13, 1965 until she retired January 31, 1994.
She attended grade school and high school in Shedd, Oregon.
Margaret was the valedictorian of her high school class.
She was involved in many school activities as well as 4H Club.
She graduated from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing and Technology in September of 1956.
She became a registered nurse February 2, 1957.
Margaret is survived by her sisters; Wilma Byron of Shedd, Oregon and Ruth Meek of Pearce, Arizona.
Other survivors include her sister-in-law Edith Starnes of Reno, Nevada and one first cousin, Evelyn Rys of Walnut Grove, Minnesota as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret enjoyed hand crafts, travel and was a member of Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
