Follow facts on casino

Well, another round of disinformation is being put forth by local politicians, and other people against the Spokane Tribe’s proposed casino in Airway Heights.

There is no threat of any kind to Fairchild Air Force Base’s continued operation as an integral, much-needed entity in Airway Heights. The real threat would be losing the economic boost this project would bring to local people.

The fear that casino opponents hope to generate around a “compromised” Fairchild is dispelled if individuals will take the time to research the facts.

A former Spokane County commissioner, Bonnie Mager, talked to a former base commander who stated that the casino would not adversely affect Fairchild. Other examples of fabricated information against the casino can be discovered by real fact-seekers.

Do not buy the politicians’ story. Their story will not allow jobs and growth to come to our area via the Spokane Tribe’s casino construction and operation.
