Need czar to cut waste

A lousy 2 percent expense cut is being presented as the end of the world as we know it. My lord, trash cans at the national parks will not be emptied as often as now. How can we live with that tragedy?

What really bothers me is that throughout all the baloney on this exercise in futility not one mention has been made about the waste in government, and that the total savings desired could be found just in the waste in government, if we tried to pinpoint it.

What we need is a super czar or committee that could examine all the programs, and kill those that had no real value. I realize this has no realistic chance of ever occurring, but we can dream. That dictator would only have the power to cut programs, never to promote a new one.

I have not been smoking pot.
