WSU’s Galdeira receives Pac-12 honors
Washington State guard Lia Galdeira earned three honors Tuesday as the Pac-12 Conference announced its all-conference teams.
Galdeira was named to the Pac-12’s all-freshman team and received honorable mention on the All-Pac-12 team and the all-defensive team.
WSU sophomore guard Tia Presley (Gonzaga Prep), whose season ended in late January with a knee injury, joined Galdeira as All-Pac-12 honorable mention.
Oregon State’s Jamie Weisner (Clarkston High) was also named honorable mention and joined Galdeira on the all-freshman team.
Stanford junior forward Chiney Ogwumike was named player of the year and defensive player of the year.
