OUTLOOK: No. 1-ranked and top-seeded Gonzaga, riding a 12-game winning streak, should be well rested with a week between games when it takes the floor in the WCC Tournament semifinals at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. No. 9 Loyola Marymount, No. 5 San Francisco and No. 4 Santa Clara are potential opponents. Santa Clara, with a bye into the quarterfinals, is one win from a third meeting against Gonzaga. A semifinal victory would give Gonzaga its first 30-win season. The Bulldogs’ five-point wins over No. 2 Saint Mary’s and No. 3 BYU represent their closest conference outcomes.
