Obituary: Danner, Pearl Bernice

Age 90

DANNER, Pearl Bernice (Age 90) Pearl Bernice Danner passed to heaven in Spokane Washington on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the age of 90.

Pearl was born October 18, 1922 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and moved to the Everett area where she grew up and married Melvin H. Danner on June 3, 1942.

Mel and Pearl moved to Vancouver, WA soon after WWII where they lived for ten years, and then moved back to Everett.

Ten years after Mel’s death in 1975, Pearl moved to Spokane, WA to be near family and resided there until her passing.

In Everett, Pearl was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, the Garden Club and Bingo Club.

She worked at the Everett Fish Company and loved hunting and fishing with Mel.

In Spokane she was a member of Spokane Christian Center, The Golden Harvesters, and supported and attended functions at Healing Rooms Ministries.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Roy Smith, Charles Smith, Alfred Smith, Marjorie Armstrong and husband, Melvin H. Danner.

She is survived by her son, Gary Danner; and daughter, Pamela Walker.

She was a beloved grandmother of 4 grand-daughters and 5 great grand-sons.

A memorial service will be held at the Healing Rooms Conference Center on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 1:00p.m.
