Obituary: Clark, Sue J. (Rydblom)

Age 83

CLARK, Sue J.

(Rydblom) Passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2013 in Deer Park, WA with her family.

Sue was born on November 30, 1929 to William and Esther Rydblom in Spokane, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband John who passed away on March 5, 2012; father; mother; brother, Bill Rydblom II (Tillamook, OR); sister, Jeanne Whitesitt; and sister, Patricia Rydblom.

Sue grew up in Spokane where she graduated from Rogers High School in 1948.

In 1955, she earned her BA Degree while attending Northwest Bible College in Kirkland, WA.

Sue then began her lifelong career working for the telephone company where she retired in 1995.

She was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Sue faithfully attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church where she met her husband of 52 years, John.

She later attended Valley Assembly of God, Pleasant View Church in Post Falls, ID and finally Greenacres Christian Fellowship.

Sue loved children and served over 60 years as a pre-school Sunday School teacher.

She loved to garden and travel as often as she could.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.

Sue is survived by her son, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Ginger; granddaughters, Breanna and Merissa; and her sister, JoAnne McDaniel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA.

A private graveside service to follow at a later date at Riverside Memorial Park.
