Gary was born in Spokane, WA on July 15, 1938 to Lloyd and Helen Davis.
He had a brother, Jim Davis and is survived by his sister Joan Teague, wife Jan and daughters from Sandra Davis: Kaani, Kimberly and Katherine and extended family Chad, Stacy, and Scott and his many grandchildren.
Gary was a devoted father, brother, and friend.
He will be remembered for his great smile, humorous spirit and compassionate manner.
He served in the Air Force for seven years and his passion for fighter planes remained with him long after he began his career selling life insurance.
His dedication to getting to know and helping his clients fueled his success in the insurance and annuity business, which was reflected in the long term relationships he held with his clients.
Gary was a people person, a real gentleman who loved tinkering with projects, working on cars, and gave his time to people.
His hobbies were snow skiing, golfing and boating at Twin Lakes.
The family extends a special thanks to Hospice of Spokane and the caretakers at Moran Vista.
They provided great care, surrounded him with love and made the end of his life enjoyable.
