Pro-lifers are inconsistent
In response to Jim Shubert’s letter of Feb. 27:
It amazes me the number of people who support the right to life of a zygote or embryo, yet support the death penalty for an adult human being. If you truly believe in a right-to-life, show some consistency.
I also do not understand how, once the life is outside the womb, the right wing feels it has absolutely no responsibility for the care, feeding and education of the child. Granted, this is primarily the “job” of the parent, but is this not a civilized and Christian society? Oops, I forgot …

Granted, this is primarily the “job” of the parent, but is this not a civilized and Christian society? Oops, I forgot; isn’t “society” the root word of “socialism”? That must explain it.
This is more than a mere paradox; this is willful hypocrisy.
