Saint Mary’s gets past USD for OT victory
LAS VEGAS – Brad Waldow had 23 points and Matthew Dellavedova shook off a shooting slump to hit a game-tying 3-pointer late in regulation as Saint Mary’s defeated San Diego 69-66 in the semifinals of the WCC men’s basketball tournament on Saturday night.
Beau Levesque scored 19 points and Mitchell Young 12 for the second-seeded Gaels (27-5), who will face Gonzaga in the title game.
