Bullets hit South Hill home in gang-related shooting

From staff reports
At least two bullets struck a house on the lower South Hill early this morning. Spokane Police spokeswoman Monique Cotton said the shooting appears to be gang-related. She said dispatchers received calls around 4 a.m. that approximately seven or eight shots had been fired in the 500 block of East Eighth Avenue. Cotton said one house, which had people inside, was hit twice. Police are investigating, she said, although the occupants in the home have not been cooperative. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
