Obituary: Austin, Larry Kent

Age 54

AUSTIN, Larry Kent (Age 54) Larry was born in Spokane, Washington and lived in the Mead and Colbert area all of his life.

He was a graduate of Mead High School, class of 1977.

Larry was a long time employee of Food Services of America.

In 2012, Larry returned to work with Blackline, Inc. of Vancouver, Washington as a yard supervisor.

He was preceded in death by infant son Kevin, first wife Mary (nĂŠe MacNeill) and parents Flora and Keith Austin.

Larry is survived by his wife Kelli of Spokane and his daughter Aileen of Seattle, WA, brothers Gary and Tom Postlewait of Spokane, Loren Austin of Las Vegas, NV and sister Janie Johnson of Sandpoint, ID.

He is also survived Kelli’s children Leah, Lyndsey, Larkin and Levi and four grandchildren.

Larry was also very close to numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who loved him so very much.

Larry spent nearly all his free time with his family or at his shop off Austin Road.

Our fond memories of Larry include his easy smile, infectious laugh, exceptionally clean garage and his unconditional love for family and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, March 16, at 3:30pm at Mead United Methodist Church, 12611 N. Wilson.

Private inurnment Saturday at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Otis Orchards, WA.
