The point is ignored

Letters to the editor have been published criticizing Mike Fagan for speaking the truth about the governor being a “lying whore” due to his promise to not raise taxes during his election campaign. Fagan’s truthful comments made front page news while nothing is said about the lie itself.

People evidently have never considered that the word “whore” has many meanings. Either they are too lazy to use a dictionary or don’t know how to use one. This word is used numerous times daily in movies, on TV and in other media. Nothing is said about that.

Also, very little has been said about the lies that the governor told about taxes to get elected. It is amazing that one word can garner such a enormous response while the lies the governor told are practically ignored.
