Montana, Weber in title game
Will Cherry scored 21 points, and top-seeded Montana rolled into the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball tournament final with a 70-56 victory over Northern Colorado in Missoula on Friday night.
Kareem Jamar added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Grizzlies (24-6), who will face No. 2 seed Weber State in today’s final.
Derrick Barden and Connor Osborne scored 18 points apiece for the fifth-seeded Bears (13-18).
UNC shot 37 percent from the floor and committed 12 turnovers, which Montana turned into 17 points.
The Grizzlies opened the game on a 15-2 run and never trailed.

Weber State 76, North Dakota 74: Davion Berry scored 25 points and Kyle Tresnak’s basket with 19 seconds left broke a late tie and the Wildcats advanced to the championship game.
The Wildcats (26-5), the No. 2 seed, rallied from a 12-point deficit early in the second half.
Third seed North Dakota (16-16) led 74-71 after Mitch Wilmer’s tip-in with 1:31 to play. But Weber State scored the last five points.
