Some facts about Spokane and St. Patrick's day.

Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day, but Spokane’s annual downtown parade will take place today at noon. The first St. Patrick’s Day parade was held in New York City on March 17, 1762. Congress proclaimed March as Irish-American Heritage Month in 1995.
