Ryan will never learn

I see where Rep. Paul Ryan has again introduced a budget plan that pretty much mirrors the last Ryan budget proposal, which was so popular with the American people they voted to overwhelmingly re-elect President Barack Obama.

Ryan repeats his call to repeal the Affordable Health Care Act (he could use some Obamacare with that long-term memory loss he’s suffering). He basically wants to gut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security under the guise of “reform,” cut food stamps while increasing the military budget by $500 billion over the next 10 years, and cut taxes for rich corporations from 39 percent to 25 percent; in essence, turn his back on the poor and middle class.

As was the case the first time around, this ridiculous proposal has no chance of passing but, as Ryan casually said when asked why he would put forward a budget proposal that was so overwhelmingly rejected the first time around, “We’re not giving up on our principles.”

When will these people ever learn? Apparently, never.
