Bill is death-affirming

Once upon a time the leaders of the most technologically and culturally advanced country in the world met to decide what to do about “the Jewish question.” And, oh, what a murderous answer they came up with.

Today, in our once-great state of Washington, can there be any more cruel and horrible irony than that some of our elected officials are considering a bill that equates providing health care in the life-affirming miracle of giving birth with paying for the deliberate elective killing of an unborn child?

Editorial: Washington state lawmakers scramble to keep public in the dark

State lawmakers want to create a legislative loophole in Washington’s Public Records Act. While it’s nice to see Democrats and Republicans working together for once, it’s just too bad that their agreement is that the public is the enemy.
