Get a grip on guns

After the multiple tragedies due to lack of gun control that I have experienced not only on television but in real life, I know it is time to get a grip on our weapons, and on our nation. Many believe that distributing more guns will increase our safety. I find this idea ludicrous.

Shootings, such as those in Connecticut and Colorado, have been allowed because of irresponsible control of firearms. Adam Lanza literally stole his mother’s gun, proving to the public that it was kept in an easy access area when weapons of that power should be held responsibly.

Events like this clearly prove to this nation that we need to step up on gun control.
