Obituary: Brussard, Joe D.

Age 78

BRUSSARD, Joe D. Passed away on March 7, 2013 in Spokane, WA his home Davenport, WA.

Joe was born on November 12, 1934 in Lushton, Nebraska to Charles and Marie Bussard.

The family later moved to the Metaline Falls area where he graduated from High school in 1953.

After graduation he entered the US Navy where he served during the Korean Conflict.

He married Jolane Hankins on August 28, 1957 in Spokane, WA.

Joe is survived by his wife of 55 yrs Jolane at the home in Davenport, WA, Two sons Doug (Karen) Bussard and Jerry (Dyann) Bussard along with six wonderful grand children Brandon, Jake, Zack, Kelly, Cierra and Savannah and two great-grandchildren Danielle Jolane and Colton Joe and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jackie.

He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed traveling and visiting with people but his family was the most important thing to him.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Eagles Lodge, 6410 N. Lidgerwood, Spokane, WA 99208.
