FORD, Leonard E. (Age 98) Went to be with his Lord and Savior March 10, 2013 in Spokane, WA. He was born on September 4, 1914 in Nespelem, WA. He attended Omak high school. After graduation he went on to bible school at Northwest Bible Institute in Seattle. He was a pastor for twenty-five years with the Assemblies of God Church in WA, and AK. After being a self-employed builder and contractor, he went to work for Marley Construction in Alaska, the U.S., and China. Leonard is preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Louise Ford, great-granddaughter Spencer Ford, son-in-law Andy Selanoff and all twelve of his siblings. He is survived by his wife, Ada Ford; three children, Nancy Lix (Joe) of Mesa, AZ, Stanley Ford (Maxine) of Woodland, WA and Julia Selanoff of Keni, AK; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two step daughters, Mary E. Wells (Gene) of AR, and Evelyn Erickson (Raymond) of Chattaroy, WA. There will be a memorial service Monday, March 18, 2013, 11:00am at Morgan Acres Community Church, 7319 N. Regal St., Spokane, WA. Entombment will be in Colorado Springs, CO.
