Age 84
HANSEN, Kermit “Swede” (Age 84) Passed on to his Lord and Savior March 2, 2013 at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, WA after a short illness. Swede was born May 21, 1928 in Miles City, MT. He was preceded in passing by his three brothers, Donald, Lyle and Gordon Hansen. Swede and Gordon served together in the Air National Guard and Army. Many great times were had at all the family gatherings. He was preceded in passing by his three brothers, Donald, Lyle and Gordon Hansen. Swede and Gordon served together in the Air National Guard and Army. Many great times were had at all the family gatherings. Swede and his wife Barbara were married 38 years and had five children, Kermit Jr. (Sidney) of California, Kerry (Cheryl) of New Mexico, Kirk of Texas, Brenda (Tim) of Arizona, Kim (Bobbie) of Texas. Barbara passed away in 1990, leaving Swede on his 27 acre farm that he enjoyed with his nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Swede was a great provider for his family and will be missed by his church, farmers in the area, and his companion for the last 10 years, Vivian Dean.
