Obituary: Pearson, Harry S.
PEARSON, Harry S. Born on September 11, 1913, Harry entered into rest peacefully at his home in Spokane, WA on March 11, 2013 after a long and happy life. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Dora, who passed in 2011. He was a WWII veteran serving 20 years with the U.S. Navy. Harry’s working career resulted in retiring after 29 years with the City of Spokane Water Department. He was a very dedicated lifetime member (75 Years) of the Spokane Eagles Lodge Aerie #2. PEARSON, Harry S. Born on September 11, 1913, Harry entered into rest peacefully at his home in Spokane, WA on March 11, 2013 after a long and happy life. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Dora, who passed in 2011. He was a WWII veteran serving 20 years with the U.S. Navy. Harry’s working career resulted in retiring after 29 years with the City of Spokane Water Department. He was a very dedicated lifetime member (75 Years) of the Spokane Eagles Lodge Aerie #2. He enjoyed attending the weekly Lodge meetings as well as other events. Harry also was a generous 36 gallon blood donor. The largest donor in the country at the time. He loved spending time in the great outdoors, camping and hunting (elk and deer). He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well with his son Carl who was born in 1963. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18th, 2013 at 1:00 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. Division, Spokane, WA 99207. Interment with Military honors at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, followed by a pot luck at the Eagle’s Lodge at 3:30 PM. Online guestbook at www.riplingers.com
