Wittenbecher, Alice P. (Age 64) Alice was born on May 22, 1948 in Omak, WA to Carl and Ruth Precht. She passed away on March 9, 2013 in Spokane, WA. Alice spent her school years in Omak, graduating from Omak High School. After graduation she attended Washington State University, receiving a Masters Degree in Education. She spent most of her teaching years at Moran Prairie Elementary School, where she especially loved teaching the 3rd grade. On October 15, 1988 Alice married David Wittenbecher. Alice spent her school years in Omak, graduating from Omak High School. After graduation she attended Washington State University, receiving a Masters Degree in Education. She spent most of her teaching years at Moran Prairie Elementary School, where she especially loved teaching the 3rd grade. On October 15, 1988 Alice married David Wittenbecher. Alice was a devoted member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Alice was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ruth Precht. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years David Wittenbecher; brothers: Jim Precht and Robert Precht; sister: Caroline Baughman; children: Sam Wright, Melanie and Ryoma Ohi; grandchildren: Calvin and Evelyn Ohi as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on March 24, 2013 at 2:00PM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave., Spokane, WA 99203. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made in Alice’s name to the charity of your choice.
