Proud of the first lady

When will the media stop being obsessed with Michelle Obama’s bangs? When will they end the debate over the first lady’s “over-exposure” as she presses forward with Let’s Move, her anti-obesity campaign?

Recently, Donny Deutsch (MSNBC contributor) and Bill O’Reilly (Fox contributor) were beside themselves when the first lady outdid Jack Nicholson as she announced the Best Picture winner on this year’s Oscars night. They obviously didn’t see the look of pride on Jack Nicholson’s face as he presented the elegant and lovely first lady to a surprised and delighted audience, as she beamed in to join us in our annual appreciation of films and the thousands of creative and hardworking artists in the movie industry.

America is fortunate to have a first lady with class, dignity and warmth, who fights for our children’s health, who, together with Jill Biden, looks out for our veterans and their families, and who hopefully will continue to fight for worthy causes over the next three and a half years … with or without bangs.
