Color runs to make Spokane debut this summer

The Color Run, a non-competitive 5K race where participants get covered in paint, is coming to Spokane in August.

Two colorful 5K runs are coming to Spokane this summer.

The Color Me Rad Run takes place on June 15. The Color Run is making its Spokane debut Aug. 4.

Both races feature participants who wear white clothing, then are doused with colored powder at locations along the race route to make a human canvas. They also both pledge to give a portion of their proceeds to a local charity.
