Two colorful 5K runs are coming to Spokane this summer.

The Color Me Rad Run takes place on June 15. The Color Run is making its Spokane debut Aug. 4.

Both races feature participants who wear white clothing, then are doused with colored powder at locations along the race route to make a human canvas. They also both pledge to give a portion of their proceeds to a local charity.

Registration for Color Me Rad Run is open and costs $35. Visit www.colormerad.com.

Registration for The Color Run opens March 29 at www.thecolorrun.com. A registration price has not yet been set.
