His home was Harrington, WA.
He is survived by his wife Donna Carpy at the home, one daughter Bonnie (Alan) Stone and three grand- children Jennifer (Jon) Fischer, Sarah (Zane) Hendrickson and Michelle (Mark) Siadal and three great-grandchildren Brody Hendrickson, Carson and Tucker Siadal.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Carpy in 2012 and one sister Patty Scheibe.
He was a WWII Navy Veteran and received a Purple Heart for his service.
He graduated from Harrington High School in 1943 and later received his BA degree from WSC (now WSU).
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service, will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Harrington Community Church, Harrington, WA.
Public Military Graveside Inurnment precedes Memorial Service at Hillcrest Cemetery at 10:30.
Memorials may be made to the Harrington Ambulance or the Hillcrest Cemetery Endowment Care fund C/O City of Harrington.
