Obituary: Hankel, Robert John, Jr.
HANKEL, Jr. Robert John, “Rob” Passed away March 12th, 2013. Rob, was born on December 18th, 1959 to Bob and Judy Hankel. He grew up in Spokane and graduated from East Valley High School in 1978. Rob then went to work for APCO as a general contractor. He then continued his employment on to Haskins Steel Company, where he worked for over 10 years as a construction worker. His most recent job was at Commercial Battery Service, where he worked as an industrial battery serviceman for over 10 years. Rob loved to ride his snowmobile in the winter and go …

HANKEL, Jr. Robert John, “Rob” Passed away March 12th, 2013. Rob, was born on December 18th, 1959 to Bob and Judy Hankel. He grew up in Spokane and graduated from East Valley High School in 1978. Rob then went to work for APCO as a general contractor. He then continued his employment on to Haskins Steel Company, where he worked for over 10 years as a construction worker. His most recent job was at Commercial Battery Service, where he worked as an industrial battery serviceman for over 10 years. Rob loved to ride his snowmobile in the winter and go boating in the summer. He also loved Nascar, restoring old cars and was a regular at The Otis Grill in Otis Orchards. Rob enjoyed life and spending precious time with his family and friends. His contagious laugh and truly caring heart will certainly be missed by all. Rob is survived by his grandmother Betty, his mother Judy, brothers Dave and Kevin and sister Melinda, his three children Amanda, Brandon and Emily; his four grandchildren Dominic, Jasmine, Bella and Samie Jo; and several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a memorial service for him on Sat.,March 23rd at the Chattaroy Community Church, 1:00 p.m., 3711 Chattaroy, WA 99003
