A Johnson family affair

Congratulations to Tyler Johnson on playing in the NHL. Your hockey journey has been full of successful milestones, including the Spokane Chiefs’ Memorial Cup, the World Junior Gold Medal, and the AHL Calder Cup. Way to go Tyler.

But congratulations and thank you should also be said to Tyler’s parents, Ken and Debbie.

Even before Tyler was born, Ken and Debbie volunteered several years and countless hours to the Spokane Youth Hockey programs, working at learn-to-skate clinics and coaching youth teams. Ken and Debbie have both played rec hockey and shared their skills with Tyler throughout the years. And they also spent countless hours taking Tyler to hockey events everywhere.

So thank you Tyler, Ken and Debbie for your lifelong devotion to hockey in Spokane.
