Inslee right on climate

I am thankful that we have a governor that is serious about climate change issues and growing jobs (March 6 editorial, “Assessment of green options worldwide”). I joined over 800 fellow Spokane residents to say “no” to coal and “yes” to clean energy. We’ve been talking about this for way too long, and keep kicking the problem down the road. It is time for action.

Coal is old technology and it will never be “clean coal.” Gov. Jay Inslee’s commitment to growing Washington’s economy while cutting carbon emissions is exactly what we need.
