Obituary: Fiorelli, Elizabeth “Betty” Jean

Age 77

FIORELLI, Elizabeth “Betty” Jean (Age 77) Betty passed away at home on March 18, 2013 with her daughter and husband at her side, after fighting breast cancer for many years.

She was born on May 28, 1935 to Benjamin and Ethel (Bozett) Brown in Spokane, WA, where she also grew up.

Betty attended Rogers High School, graduating in 1953.

She married Don Fiorelli on June 10, 1953 in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

Betty had two children, Terry in 1954 and Donna in 1958.

Betty lost her brother, Ben Brown when he was 18.

Her dad passed away when she was eight and her mother raised her as a single mother.

Don and Betty moved to California after getting married, there they had their son Terry and Don finished serving his time in the Army.

In 1955 they came back to Spokane, where she lived the rest of her life with her family.

She was a member of the Covenant Christian Church and the Elks Club.

Betty was full of life and loved to laugh and have fun.

Everyone that knew her, loved her.

Everyone commented on the love that was so bright between Don and Betty.

On June 10th of 2013, they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary.

Betty is survived by her husband, Don Fiorelli; daughter, Donna Antaya; sister-in-law, Lena Keller; grandchildren, Kellie Wright and Robert Hahn; great-grandchildren, Bennett Wright, Elizabeth Wright and Samuel Wright as well as nieces and nephews, Gary, Rick, Tim, Janice, Steve and Dennis Keller and Kelly Seeley.

She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Fiorelli and sister-in-law, Marian Seeley.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 at 11 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schafer Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
