Obituary: Hull, David Elmer

HULL, David Elmer (Age 78) Passed away 26 January 2013 in Spokane Valley, Washington of cancer.

He was born 10 June, 1934 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

David worked many years as a welder in construction.

He was a journeyman carpenter.

He was proud of the home he built and enjoyed until his death.

David enjoyed gold prospecting from Idaho to Alaska.

He hunted elk and deer for many years.

He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Nina (Hartman) Hull; sisters, Vivian Hull, Alma Gentry, Irene Stevens; wife Joan and wife Jeanette (“Goldie”) and three nephews.

David is survived by his son Gary Hull, daughter Roxanne (Mark) Fuller, stepchildren Cal (Patty) Walker, Angie (Dave) Nerren, Bryan (Cheryl) Walker and Tom Walker; brothers, Milo (Ruth) Hull, Clifford (Helen) Hull; sisters, Della Nordgaarden, Norene (Jack) Coleman; his companion and dear friend Florence Schafroth; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

When David was a young boy he went out to get the Christmas tree.

As soon as mom saw the tree she knew the neighbors no longer had two matching trees for the path to their house.

Funeral services were held 6 February, 2013 at Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley, Washington.
