Zags unite Spokanites

Although it was disheartening that the NCAA tournament committee did not select the Zags as the No. 1 overall seed, Spokane can be proud of the team’s No. 1 ranking.

Regardless of the ultimate result of the tournament, the tight-knit community of Spokane can be proud of the Zags!

Strangers chit-chat with fellow grocery shoppers, conversations pop up at kid’s soccer games, neighbors share team spirit, etc. Also, to hear that Mark Few shall remain in Spokane and decline offers elsewhere, makes us appreciate living in Spokane.

The impact that this 2012-13 team has will go down in history and memories will linger long after the “Big Dance” is over.

College-bound students will choose Gonzaga University after seeing the inspiring spirit of the Zags’ fans. Such an amazing year makes Spokane an even more tight-knit community than ever.
