Okanogan man shot by deputy in stable condition

OKANOGAN, Wash. — The Okanogan County sheriff’s office says a man who was shot by a deputy Thursday is in stable condition at a Spokane hospital.

The sheriff’s office say the deputy shot 31-year-old Ronald E. Moore after he killed his father, Raymond Moore, at a home in Okanogan.

An arrest warrant for Ronald Moore accuses him of murder and assault.

The deputy involved in the shooting is on paid leave during an investigation by the Chelan County sheriff’s office and the Washington State Patrol.
