Bone meets with Moos, keeps job
PULLMAN – Ken Bone is still Washington State’s basketball coach.
Bone and athletic director Bill Moos held their end-of-season meeting on Wednesday, The Spokesman-Review has learned, and Bone is expected to return for his fifth season.
Bone will hold his annual season wrap-up teleconference this afternoon.
After the Cougars finished 13-19 overall and 4-14 in Pac-12 play, some speculated about Bone’s future as WSU’s coach. But it was considered unlikely that Moos would make a change with three years – and $2.55 million in salary – still remaining on Bone’s seven-year contract.
