She was born in Troy, ID on December 29, 1921 to Benjamin and Hazel Steelsmith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cave, and son-in-law, Bernie Knowles.
Alice is survived by her children, Lynda Darline Knowles, Margaret Erwin (Bill); grandchildren, Patricia Taylor, Scott Knowles (Nancy), Tracey Zepeda (Jose), Tina Pettis (Tom), Beth Hibeller (Randy), Lisa Farmacka (Brett), Eric Erwin (Becky); great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Nicholas Taylor, Erin, Jonas, and Charlie Knowles, Lucas and Noah Zepeda, Chris Pettis (Nicole), Kayla and Cody Pettis, Dave Andre, Brenna and Cassidy Farmacka, and Ethan Hibeller.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM.
