Associated Press
MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Two young men have died in a crash into Moses Lake. Witnesses told police they saw a speeding SUV about 1 a.m. today. It left a road through a restaurant parking lot and went down a grassy embankment and landed upside down in about 5 feet of water. The Columbia Basin Herald reports a 20-year-old and 21-year-old died at the scene. Another 20-year-old man was able to get out. Moses Lake firefighters used hydraulic tools to force open a door and rescue another 20-year-old man. Capt. Dave Sands says alcohol was a factor in the crash.
